Balochistan Minister Accuses Afghan Government of Sheltering Terrorists

top-news

AT Kabul: Balochistan’s caretaker Minister for Information, Jan Achakzai, has accused the Afghan government of playing a double game and not taking seriously the issue of terrorists using Afghan soil for attacks in Pakistan. Speaking at a press conference, Achakzai stated that Pakistan has repeatedly urged Afghanistan to hand over individuals involved in terrorist attacks with proof, but there has been no positive response from Kabul.

Achakzai warned that Pakistan is determined to pursue its demands, citing recent terrorist attacks in Bannu where Afghan nationals were reportedly involved, as proven by Afghan identity cards found at the scene. He expressed concern that Afghan refugees, equipped with their country’s ID cards and other documents, pose security risks and announced plans for their deportation.

The caretaker minister stressed the Taliban government’s responsibility to prevent any group from using Afghan soil for attacks on Pakistan. He asserted that no Afghan will be allowed to enter Pakistan without a passport and visa, underlining the government’s commitment to implement a one-document regime for crossing international borders from both sides.
